In a heartwarming display of community spirit, at our spectacular Ashmere Christmas multi-home event took place yesterday, leaving both residents and staff filled with joy and holiday cheer.
The Christmas event had performances from live acts, a visit from a mini zoo, and the much-anticipated arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The event, which took place at Heanor Minors Welfare, was a resounding success, with attendees revelling in the festive atmosphere.
The event was fully catered with an array of delectable treats. Sandwich platters, cakes, and other delectable delights ensuring that no one went hungry during the day’s celebrations. Adding to the merry atmosphere, residents were dancing and enjoying the music. The joyous occasion was a testament to the power of coming together to celebrate the season of giving and sharing.
Reflecting on the event, Laura Davenport (event organiser) said “It was truly heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate the holiday season. The smiles on the faces of the residents and the shared laughter and joy made all the planning and effort worthwhile.”
