Smalley Hall began its life as a coach house which stands alongside the original hall, this Grade II listed building is now a charming care home set in the picturesque Amber Valley countryside. With its distinctive character and inviting ambience, it provides a homely setting ideal for individuals seeking comfort and a homely environment. 

Resident wellbeing is our absolute focus, we work hard to ease every resident into their new environment recognising that for many people moving into a care home can be a daunting transition. We want to reassure you that many people move in and discover a newfound sense of freedom and comfort, to support this we encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their cherished possessions.

With a dedicated activities team on-site everyday there is lots of ways to find enjoyment, we carefully plan activities to make sure that they are person centred and meaningful for the individuals residing within the home. 

We are passionate about enhancing our services, and as part of this commitment, we have recently initiated significant refurbishments to modernise our facilities at the home. One of the key enhancements is the addition of the new café lounge, providing a welcoming space for everyone to relax and enjoy a coffee while catching up.
